I’ve always loved Os X’s large type feature that allowed you to reference text from across the room.
What I’ve always wanted was the simple ability to make ANY text I wanted large like that. I was hoping for a nice item in the contextual menu to let yo do this, but theres nothing. Using Quicksilver, […]
Transpodder monitors all of your tv shows and puts them on your iPod automatically. With no effort or interaction. Bittorrent + RSS + iPod!
Transpodder is a combination of simple tools and simple technologies. It uses FFMPEG to transcode your content and podcasting to get it onto your iPod. With the right setup, all of this […]
For those that don’t know, Flip4Mac has made a couple applications involving Microsoft’s Windows Media format for a while. Previously they offered just a single codec to let you play WMV files in Quicktime for $10. Well worth the money. This was nice because you could finally watch wmv videos in the browser, not watch […]
KCRW, a public station out of Santa Monica, is one of my favorite online radio stations. Its available right inside of iTunes, or via a shoutcast stream.
They play an amazing range of music and its a great way to find new artists. They were also on of the first public stations to put their […]
If you’ve got a Mac, you’ve probably heard of Salling Clicker. It’s a great app that allows you to use bluetooth phones as remotes for your applications in Os X.
If you have a Blackberry, you also know that Sailing Clicker doesn’t support it. The developer has said it’s entirely possible to support, they just […]

I’ve never like having to mouse through hundreds of fonts looking for that perfect font. Whichever word I’m trying to stylize usually renders as not being […]
One of the first flockers, I just made that up, has posted a review of the anticipated new browser. It’s pretty positive and gets me even more excited to play with it.
Hopefully soon I’ll be able to post quickie posts like this through Flock.
I know this isn’t very new. But it may be new to you. I want to get the word out, because this project has a ton of potential. They’re creating a new browser (god who needs another one!!) that is going to be your central dashboard to “Web 2.0″ applications, as they’re all being labeled […]
I updated my flickr plugin for Xbmc. I stripped out the settings manager and hope that clears up the rare problem I’m hearing about it asking for the email over and over.
Heres the official change log:
Beta2:
Ripped out the settings manager. Add your email and choose your screen aspect at the top of the flickr.py […]
