Simple Voicemail
I was driving home the other night checking my voicemail and came across a new option. Expert mode. So I pressed 8 to check it out.
All of a sudden, instead of using sentences, the automated voiceover used words to describe options. “To listen to your messages, please press 1″ turned into “Messages, 1″. “To change your outgoing greeting, please press 2″ changed to “greeting, 2″. When I am first greeted to my voicemail I’m now asked, “password” instead of “Please enter your password and press pound”.
This saves a ton of time and its a wonder why the “Expert” option isn’t the standard.
Wow… /me runs to grab his old ass sprint phone….
