Sprint Power Vision
So a couple of Fridays ago I received an email from the Ambassador program at Sprint PCS. They told me that they found my web site and wanted to send me a phone with full access to their Power Vision service for free for 6 months.
Of course I assumed it was a phishing spam. But guess what.. It wasn’t! So yesterday I received my phone and I’ve been playing with it ever since.
The phone they sent me was the Samsung a920. So far, I’ve messed with its TONS of content. All of the content I’ve explored so far would cost you a fortune.
I’ll go more into detail later. I just wanted to write this up for full disclosure, as there will be quite a few posts about Sprint’s Power Vision network soon.
Wow. How did you manage to swing that?

So what do you think? I’ve been going back and forth between sprint and vzw for sometime now.
The Sprint guys had no problem tethering to get EV-DO to my mac - VZW wants me to buy a card that won’t fit in a Mac Book Pro (however, I’m assured by my h4×0r buddies that you can tether with VZW).
Have you tried getting sweet, sweet 3mbps to your mac with Sprint?
Sprint seems to be about $500 less per year for the whole family package, but their network seems to suck it.
