Never mind, I got full resolution, fully authenticated feeds working. If you
want to be able to access your private flickr photos via iPhoto photocasts,
give my alpha site, http://photocastr.com/ a try. I'll be adding more features
in the coming days.

well, my theory about needing to be auth'd is obviously flawed. it's all just
served from static.flickr.com. and juding from the urls, it's easy to "guess"
at the full size image url for any photo.

nonethless, i am not getting full sized (i.e., *_o_d.jpg) from my flickr feeds.

Given that hires images are part of a "pro" account, there must be something else going on. Especially since this doesn't work for me right now. Are you including auth information in your feed URL?

does this give you hires photos?
feed://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne

what about this:
feed://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?tags=flower&format=atom_03

thanks for any more info you can give -- it would be great to avoid writing a feed re-writer app
