Newzbin Feedburner Feeds Pulled
About a month ago I forwarded all of my feeds to Feedburner. The Revision3 feeds and Newzbin feeds. Well today I’ve pulled them. I just wanted to see some stats on them, and I got what I needed. If you had the proper feed URL’s bookmarked, then you were fine. When requesting the feeds on my site, you were just forwarded via mod_rewrite to Feedburner.
It occurred to me though that new users probably clicked on my links, got forwarded, and then bookmarked the Feedburner URLs. So if you are one of those people, then your feed is now broken. Sorry. Just go grab the proper link again and it will work.
*Update: Rick at Feedburner wrote in to let me know that by deleting the feeds, they redirect back to the original feed for 30 days. So no harm will be done. NICE! That’s why these guys rock.
Sorry to lose you, but you should know that anyone who subscribed to your FeedBurner URL will not be stranded. Just delete the feed from your FeedBurner account control panel, and select the 30 day redirection option. All subscribers will be re-routed to your source feed. Rick

ahh, yes, i forgot about that nice feature. Thanks.
No hard feelings. I love feedburner and still use it for my site as well as tell everyone else to use it. Its just not something I need for these feeds, and I’d like to keep it simple.

It would be really cool if you could filter out the (PAL) ones
