I finally took some time to watch Robert Cringley’s new series, NerdTV, and it was great. His first guest was Andy Hertzfeld, key member of the original Macintosh team. Its a simple show, just the right mix of history and commentary. Andy’s anecdotes are just precious history already, and will forever be folklore. With guests like Bill Joy, Wozniac, and Linus Torlvolds on the horizon, its only gonna get better.

The other side to NerdTV, a PBS production, is the distribution. They are allowing it to be downloaded directly or by bittorrent in tons of formats. So don’t worry if you don’t know when its on, just go download it whenever you feel like it. Its also licensed under the Creative Commons.

So if you haven’t checked it out yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. Its great content, and the stories are top notch. These guys did it all. They were the trail blazers.
