I updated my flickr plugin for Xbmc. I stripped out the settings manager and hope that clears up the rare problem I’m hearing about it asking for the email over and over.
Heres the official change log:
Beta2: Ripped out the settings manager. Add your email and choose your screen aspect at the top of the flickr.py file now. Script can be installed anywhere now. (Thanks Alexandre Perret)

Line and paragraph breaks automatic, e-mail address never displayed, HTML allowed: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <code> <em> <i> <strike> <strong>
hmmm… I tried the update, but still no luck. I added e-mail address to .py script. Without it I get the modal dialog box stating e-mail address needs to be added. With e-mail address added, the script starts, and says running, but after a few seconds the running text goes away, and nothing happens. I am using 31-Jul-2005 CVS build of XBMC.

There is a bug that has been found. Make sure you have a custom buddy icon in your flickr account, or the plugin will crash. I know its an odd one, but i’ll take care of it soon. This should explain the crash that random people are having.

Yes and then how i can do that? First then i need to be able to use my flickr account in xbox is not possible. My Flickr is not crashing but it is still coming up with those fake messages about my email settings not correct or ” dude you must fill in ur email or cannot find email etc etc” and i exactley put in my email settings exactly as you told me.
I look forward to use Flickr on my xbox.

Jon, When you say “custom”buddy icon, I assume you mean anything but the default icon ? if so I still can’t ge this script to work.

Entered an API key and still no luck i get doh wrong enail address and i am know it isn’t any luck anywhere else gettign this working ?
