Pixar's next masterpiece is looking a bit rough at the moment. Apple/Pixar posted it last night and I ran over as fast as I could to check it out, only to be miserablly dissapointed. First off, it looks like they didn't use any shaders for the car models or any lighting either. The cars come off looking extremly flat and boring. The sports car (Owen Wilson) looked completely generic and stupid. I don't think I like the eyes on the windshield too much, its just one more thing contributing to the whole thing looking extremely childish. I mean, this looks like something they did 15 years ago, not a release set for 2005!

C'mon Pixar, don't fail me. I know this is just a sample, but I think you should be prepared for a LOT of talk about it online. I hope you are paying attention.

On a side note, WOOT!, The Incredibles is released tonight!!!!! I have my ticket and I'm sitting idly waiting for 8:30 to roll around. I have no doubts in this one. Its gonna knock the socks off of everyone I'm sure.
