Grey Tuesday

I first heard about The Grey Album over at a.wholelottanothing.org. He talked about it being one of the best things he had heard in a long time.
DJ Danger Mouse produced this progressive album from 2 sources, the a cappella version of Jay Z's The Black Album (released specifically for remixes) and the Beatles' The White Album. He named this offspring The Grey Album. And it really is an impressive mix.
EMI has a problem with DJ Danger Mouse making a buck off of their (the Beatles') copyrights, regardless of the enormouse praises it's recieved from The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and the Boston Globe among others. So hundreds of websites are posting this remix on their sites for free downloads all over the world in protest of EMI trying to crush the album. But today, no one is making a dime. The creativity is being released for free.
