Hell Freezes Over
Well its out. I installed it on my PC and truthfully I didn't even bother going through all of its features. Why? Well, because its EXACTLY like iTunes on my Mac. They did an incredible job making the look and feel work just like the original. Even the right click menus are the same and in the same spots.
For a quick review. I give it an A. The Apple team did a great job making this work. As soon as I opened iTunes on windows it immediatly saw my library of music on my Mac via Rendezvous. Very impressive. I won't actually be using it, so i can't tell you how it works in constant use. But I expect it to hold up nicely.
I'd like to just welcome Window's users to the world of Apple applications. This is how applications should be made. iTunes is a UI marvel. It does like 5-6 different things, and its got like 3 buttons on it. Its incredible. The new store is great and the audio books will be a welcome addition.
Well, if you are a Windows users, get over to Apple.com and go try out the store, start using AAC audio for super hi-fi sound, and lastly, get organized and less confused about your music library. Besides… its fee. Nothing else is.
