ABC Sports Sucks
Pinkerton blogs about how nice the Stanley Cup Finals are while watching in HD. He goes on to say that even with ABC's bad HD coverage, its still incredible to watch. This leads me to my point. ABC Sports sucks.
Now, I'm not fortunate enough to watch in HD, but for some reason, it seems ABC wants to keep that ESPN Classic look on all of the events they cover. Ever watch a replay on your local news that was broadcast on ABC? It looks like they're reporting on the 1977 World Series. Sadly, Wednesday brings us Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Not having NBA on NBC is sad enough, but having to tune into my local ABC affiliate is the icing. Marv will still be there with his familiar commentating, but the Final's feel will definatly be missing.
I don't know who ABC Sports' VP is, but he doesn't seem to believe in the good coverage that has spawned since Fox came on the scene and pushed the envelope for all the networks. Hell, TNT has better coverage than ABC
I hated NBA on NBC, NBA on ABC is slightly better… but the CBS coverage was far better.
NBC had that annyoing sound track.

The NBA on NBC theme was great, thats what i miss the most, hehehe.
Ever hear the story behind that theme? John Tesh made it up, and sang it into his answering machine when he thought of it. Pretty odd story….

I am amazed that the primary blame in the ratings has gone to the boring play that occured over six games instead of the horrible performance by ABC. Talk about butt kissing, the announcing crew gave no real insight into the game, even though both Bill and Tom have the ability to pull it off (not always pretty but at least the attempt is matched with enthusiasm and confidence)
ABC earned every single point of its ratings. Yeah, Duncan is boring, but I can’t think of another event that was as sterile.

We suck! You Suck! And so does pro sports! Spoiled steriod cheaters playing a childs game, cheating for money. Embarrasing muscle bound twits! A scourage on America. What a waste of time and money, you spend your hard earned money so these jerk offs can buy drugs, and bitch about not making enough money. the nba on abc sucks. i grew up watching thew nba on cbs.when they went nbc i was pissed, but i began to like it, they did a pretty good job. but abc really sucks. if i wasnt such a big fan i wouldnt even watch on abc.

Is ABC Sports bad? Does it suck? I would rather watch the Vagina Monologues than anything broadcast on ABC. I REALLY THIN WE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT THREE OF THE GREATEST ATHLETES IN SPORTS WERE MADE FAMOUS ON ABC. KURT RAMBIS NBA, CHICO ESQUELAH MLB CHICAGO CUBS- LATER TRADED TO THE METS. BAZEABALL (IT WAS AHHH BEDDIE BEDDIE AHH GOOD TO AHHH HIM). ABC sucks ASS because none of there college football is in HD. You would hope big games like Texas vs. Oklahoma would be in HD.
