While I Was Lazy
I started to title this post as, 'While I Was Gone…' and then thought, I wasn't gone, I just wasn't posting anything… Well, anyways, Since I Wrote Last, there's been all kinds of cool stuff going on, especially in my favorite segment of society, Apple Land. As you may have heard Apple finally released the rumored music service, iTunes Music Store. The iMS is quite a breakthrough. It slides right into iTunes seamlessly. And it really does add to the whole digital music aspect of the platform. Imagine making a mix CD, and you are missing that one song that will finish it off, pop onto iMS and grab it, 10 seconds later its in your library and ready to be added to the playlist. Its completely seamless. Period. No digging through folders, no importing into iTunes, and defiantly no lack in quality. Its a dream to use, and you really want to buy more music just to use the service. They do a good job making you feel like its a store. There are Staff Picks, New Releases, and even Exclusive Tracks. I'm not going to do a lengthy review of it, there are plenty of places to find that. But I will say this, I'm a picky person, I don't like subtle hiccups in almost seemingly perfect products, and I like this store. iTunes truly is one of the slickest applications I have ever used. The other thing Apple did was release the new iPods. All I have to say is, Fuck Yeah. Thank god. I had been waiting forever for this thing. And it was definately worth the wait. The new buttons at the top prove to be a fine enhancement. I was worried when I heard the rumors about it, but its still a one handed device. The new features are great, and the Dock is wonderful. Its so tiny and sleek. I've been using it non stop, and am overjoyed with the setup in my car. It is worth every penny.
I know other stuff has happened since the last post, but I can't seem to remember anything important…..
So you are “overjoyed” with the setup in your car? I have been thinking about getting an iPod. I would use it the most in my car. So if you could give any details/pictures of the setup in your car that would be great.
